Bulk Bag Loader in Stainless Steel is Suitable for Both Hazardous and Sanitary Environments

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer of Acetaminophen required a Bulk Bag/IBC Loader, which could be suitable for NEMA 7/9 hazardous environments. It would also require installation in a sanitary washdown area. Best Process Solutions provided a unit constructed entirely of stainless steel, including a stainless steel platform scale, to improve the sterility of the equipment.

The in-feed 10″ diameter manual valve, funnel inlet and inflatable fill head were manufactured from Hastalloy C, with all welds ground and polished to eliminate the possibility of difficult-to-clean contamination. All the nitrogen purge control items were housed in a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure.
