A Midwest manufacturer of high-density colorants for the plastic injection moulding industry required a vibratory screener to remove longs and fines from the pellet product flow. A second concern was to ensure that no ferrous particles like metal nuts, washers, bolts or other foreign items got into the finished product that would damage their customer’s expensive plastic injection moulding machines.

Best Process Solutions supplied a two-deck TMS-D-2443-4-(2), 2-deck 23″ x 43″ twin motor vibratory screener. The main features is the smooth, 1800 RPM non-upending action that prevents oversize longs from turning vertically and passing into the good product deck below. To ensure no product contamination, the entire body is manufactured from 304 stainless and is fitted with a permanent (rare earth) magnet to retain all ferrous particles.

A quick removal front pivot chute and hand knobs provide quick screen size changes and easy cleaning for color changeover.
